CamTrace has developed an open architecture that allows the exchange of information with business applications.
CamTrace’s metadata connectors easily enable this type of communication.

For example, a license plate recognition application will be able to send time stamped license plate information to the CamTrace server. The interface of the CamTrace client software will display the plates in real time, filter them according to different criteria and retrieve the associated video sequences.
For a checkout software it will be possible to retrieve all the video sequences associated with the search for an item code.
With access control software, you will be able to trace all the videos associated with an event such as a “forced door”, “bearer’s name”, “pass back”, etc.
